Duties & Responsibilities:

• Specializes in setup and operation of multiple torch burning equipment with CNC controls.
• Operate multiple torch and plasma burning machine.
• Bring in and remove various sizes, thickness and shapes of steel parts.
• Must be able to select correct burning tips and/or gasses and pressures to complete the job effectively.
• Knows and follows all safety instructions and guidelines.
• Keeps area clean and free of debris.
• Other job functions may be required.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Extensive knowledge of burn table operation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane and hoist.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Understand machine setup instructions.
• Perform safety inspections in manufacturing environment.
